I'm pretty sure that you've listen Björk or maybe a bit hear of her music. Just to name a few: Jóhann Jóhannsson, JFDR, Paul Oscar and so on. Today from Heavenly Rhythm we are digging deeper on (a restless boy capable of convey contemplative Icelandic landscapes to a world-audience) Ólafur Arnalds. Enjoy it mate!

Arnalds is an Icelandic composer. He was born in Mosfellsbær in 1986. He was a drummer in Fighting Shit since his early days of hardcore/metal formation. He has also advanced from a former support-act for Sigur Rós in October 2008. Next year, he was able to took part in a progressive-techno project, entitled Kiasmos alongside w/ Janus Rasmussen. His mother introduced Chopin's vast oeuvre when he was only nine. Then he met a device called Status. An interface - rather than Pro Tools - full of possibilities.

"[...] it gives people an image of Icelandic music. If it wasn't so easy, they'd probably have no image." - The Guardian interview bout Icelandics.

In the early ages he used to play the drums

Ólafur's first solo album Eulogy for Evolution was released on 2007. Living Room Songs was his second  The third solo album was From Now I Am Winter (2013). A first contract label with Mercury that lacks the prestige of Decca or Deutsche Grammophon. It was followed by re:member (2018) and the last one release d last November 6th: some kind of peaceAlso as fifty percent of Kiasmos their first album named Kiasmos released back in winter 2014. An album which rediscover new sounds Sigur Rós.

Dj Hell strikes back again!

Last Friday outed (online-market) the latest LP from Dj Hell. Called to be a homage with much more inside than the first Chicago house, Detroit techno & Philadelphia soul funk music. House Music Box (Past, Present, No Future) is a back to the roots for the Bavarian artist. He posted footage of his new singleOut of Control, tracked in his sixth studio album. It was 1994 when he released his first solo LP. We break down it below:

1. Herz is a soluble piece of acid, 90s techno, rave machine. A 135 bpm track with Chemical Brothers echoes in its pad, beats and phrases. Together lead us thought the mystery tour of Hell around Black Forest Welcome to the Hell's Jungle!

2. I Feel Love is another banger composed by atypical euphoria that make shake your body 'till sunrise mate! An MOODY path impregnated with a kind of joy. The right dose your need for the day we can party again mate! Blew it up!

3. Im Mutterlieb is a three-minutes-track of pure immersive straight-belly. Dreamy infused, nostalgic  days of uterus life. Criss-crossing the PAST, the Present and the Future forever and once experienced in life for all human being. We can' ever imagine how that life sounds again, but here is a self-justified reason to

4. Hot on the Heels of Love was built for festivals, with a huge, catchy rave riff, that collapse into slinky drum break. Fans of his deeper productions—bangers like "My Definition of House Music"—might find this one less rewarding on repeated drum machine

5. Definition of House (Remix) by Northstar is a punchy percussion, throbbing kicks. Summery pitch with an aesthetic synthesis touch on its beats

6. Alleseelen is a soppy production with some tunes elements from the 90s

7. My Life Is Hell has nonetheless Hell's succeeded in its formula - which never sounded so good before -,  that mimic wrist-snapping groove, follows by a rattlesnake. We are witnesses of a non-stop travel right into the Hell's paradise. Non-stop travel to the noisier - but no less epic - track of Hell's first LP.
